MONDAY, NOVEMBER 18: WALKING WITH THE WISE
“Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise” – Proverbs 13:20a
Six times in 2019 we had the opportunity to walk with the wise, experts in various areas of writing and publication. It has been my pleasure and privilege to have welcomed these professionals as guests on my blog: James Scott Bell, Kathy Ide, Steve Laube, Randy Ingermanson, Renni Browne, Dave King, and K.M. Weiland.

Now, a few words about The Watch on the Fencepost:
Do you love a good mystery? Do you enjoy sitting back in your most comfortable chair and slipping away into another time and place to experience someone else’s life?
If this appeals to you, then let me offer you a ticket into the world of a young woman who is about to step into the adventure of a lifetime… The Watch on the Fencepost.
In a deserted park on a cold winter day, 27-year-old Kathryn Frasier discovers a gold watch on a fencepost and has an ominous sense that it was deliberately left for her to find. When she identifies the owner of the watch, she uncovers a dark family secret and a suspicion that her parents’ recent deaths may not have been an accident.
Thrown into the hunt for a possible killer, she follows a trail of cryptic clues, and encounters a cast of characters all of whom had a connection to her parents, including an actress with a talent for disguises, an unscrupulous politician with a secret of his own, and a handsome businessman who shows a sudden romantic interest in her.
Can she solve the murder before she becomes the next victim? Check out the book trailer below.

“What would happen if Tom Clancy met Jane Austen? Something like The Watch On the Fencepost! One of the best novels I’ve read this year. Fast-paced, tense, and fun, with moments of laugh-out-loud humor and other moments of poignancy you need a hanky to get through. Kate Frasier and Cece Goldman are my new heroines. This may be the first book Kay DiBianca has written, but I hope it won’t be her last.” –Mel Hughes, freelance editor and author
